After months of running out the old Liana, Suzuki is now in a position to launch the front-wheel drive versions of the SX4.
Two grades and a new sedan body style are introduced to coincide with the release of the front-wheel drive variants. The SX4 in all-wheel drive configuration continues in just the one grade and as a hatch body style alone.
Suzuki hasn't separated the pricing of hatch and sedan, with base manual models starting the ball rolling at $19,990.
The higher grade SX4S starts from $22,990 and the AWD model tops the range at $24,390. SX4's four-speed automatic transmission option adds an extra $2000 to the price and can be specified for all grades.
Standard features of the entry-level front-wheel drive models include dual airbags, eight-speaker audio system with MP3 compatibility and air conditioning.
Added to this specification, the SX4S features climate control, cruise control and alloy wheels.
Suzuki advises that the new SX4 models will be released to the media next week and will go on sale from September.
