Suzuki Australia has revived its retro-inspired Jimny Heritage special edition for a final time, with another 300 examples of the three-door off-roader set for local showrooms. This time around, however, the limited-edition model is available exclusively with an automatic transmission, ending a run of Heritage variants previously offered only as manuals.

Three years after the original Jimny Heritage sold out in just five hours, Suzuki is bringing the special edition back for one final production run.
The latest version follows the original three-door Jimny Heritage launched in 2023 and the five-door Jimny XL Heritage released in 2024, both of which paired retro-inspired styling with manual-only drivetrains.
For 2026, Suzuki has changed course by making the Heritage available exclusively with an automatic transmission, a move the company says reflects strong customer demand.
Based on the Jimny GLX automatic, the Heritage package adds red front and rear mud flaps, Heritage decals, a Jimny Heritage cargo tray, a limited-build badge and an exclusive Heritage owner pack.

The Heritage edition is priced from $42,490 drive-away, representing a $1500 premium over the standard Jimny automatic.
Suzuki Australia general manager Michael Pachota said buyers had been asking for an automatic version since the original Heritage sold out.
"The first 300 Jimny 3-Door Heritage manuals sold out in just five hours, which showed us just how much our customers love this special limited piece of history.
"Now, for the first time, Jimny 3-Door Heritage is finally available with an automatic transmission, giving even more customers the opportunity to own one.
"But this is it. These 300 individually numbered vehicles, from 301 to 600, will be the final Jimny 3-Door Heritage limited edition models sold in Australia."

The timing comes as the Jimny continues to be Suzuki Australia's most popular model.
The light-SUV recorded 514 sales in August 2026 and 4971 deliveries year-to-date, making it comfortably the brand's best seller and accounting for more than half of Suzuki's total Australian sales volume.
While pricing places the Heritage well above the original 2023 edition, which launched at $33,490 plus on-road costs, the latest model remains one of Australia's most affordable ladder-frame four-wheel drives, undercutting larger off-road-focused alternatives such as the GWM Tank 300.

Orders for the Suzuki Jimny Heritage are open now through participating Suzuki dealers, with just 300 vehicles available nationwide.
Given the original three-door Heritage sold out within hours and the Jimny remains Suzuki's sales champion, the final Heritage batch is unlikely to remain available for long.
