The 12th annual Australian Muscle Car Masters at Sydney Motorsport Park continues its celebration of Australian motorsport history with the appearance of not just of an all-star line-up of cars from the past, but also the attendance of race heroes including Kevin Bartlett, Allan Moffat, Jim Richards, John Goss, John Bowe, Colin Bond, Fred Gibson, Bob Holden and Glenn Seton.
First held in 2005, the Australian Muscle Car Masters, which is jointly promoted by the Australian Racing Drivers Club and Chevron Publishing, has established itself as a permanent part of Sydney Motorsport Park's calendar. This year it moves away from previous dates that encompassed the Father's Day weekend to October 29 and 30.

Described as a "celebration of Australian motorsport history, heritage and passion," the event will feature Historic Group A and C Touring Cars in the Heritage Touring Cars class, Australian Trans-Am, Group N Historic Touring Cars and Group S, as well as the new Sports Racing Car Invitational demo category featuring Sports Cars, GT, Can-Am and Historic Sports Sedans.
Also included for the first time are the Kumho Tyre Australian V8 Touring Car Series and the Australian 5-Litre Touring Car Association, which will display a range of early V8 Supercar-era Commodores and Falcons.

Early bird attendees are also given the chance to save 20 per cent on regular ticket prices by purchasing two-day tickets online for $55 plus a $3.95 service fee. Sunday-only tickets are available for adults at $40, plus a $3.95 service fee.
Tickets can be purchased online. Concessions are also available and children 12 years and under are free with a paying adult. Further information is available at the website www.musclecarmasters.com.au.
