Now, thanks to Octagon and Unique Cars magazine, you can do all of the above on the world-renowned Targa Tasmania course in conjunction with the event from April 17 – 22, 2007.
The Targa Tasmania Unique Cars Tour is an opportunity to join a bunch of like-minded enthusiasts on an exciting 2000km, six-day, drive taking you to most of Tasmania's major cities and towns via competition-prepared Targa stages.
Leading the Targa Tasmania competition fields through the course, Tour participants will experience all the buzz of the proper competition, including the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of Australia's top motorsport personalities.
As part of their holiday package, participants will also attend all Targa Tasmania functions as well as some specialised Tour activities and organised events.
For the first time in 2007, the Targa Tasmania Unique Cars Tour will also include a guided in-car commentary courtesy of your designated Tour Leader and a drive around the streets of Tasmania's most infamous mining town, Beaconsfield, followed by lunch in its stunning surrounds.
Tour package price is just $3300 which includes full crew entry (including CAMS insurances), pre and during event functions, daily lunches, Vehicle Expo passes, shuttle and luggage services and event merchandise.
