Terry throws in the Towel

Alison Terry, Holden's long-serving corporate affairs executive, is seeking greener pastures

Holden's Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, Alison Terry, has tendered her resignation. Terry, a 19-year veteran with the GM subsidiary, is leaving the company to pursue a career outside the automotive industry.

With a background in law and public relations, it's by no means certain she will continue in the field of corporate relations either -- citing her 24/7 on-call workload, answering emails and phone calls from around the world, as a contributing factor in her decision to leave Holden.

Terry informed her GM-Holden colleagues of her decision on Friday, ahead of making the announcement officially. Officially, she is working through until the end of the month
