Elon Musk has confirmed the Tesla Model 3 just released in the US will be offered with both dual motors and air suspension "in about six months".
The announcement, made by Tesla's owner and CEO on his personal Twitter page, was quickly reported by electric car blog, InsideEvs.
Tesla's 'Smart Air suspension' already available on the larger Model S and the Model X can be lowered at highway speeds and raised or lowered according to the driver's preference, or automatically using data from the sat-nav.
The system was created to accommodate rough roads, snow, speed bumps or steep driveways.
Expect the full range of Tesla Model 3 variants to be available by the time local deliveries start in 2019.
