The Car Show is back!

Tune in to the fourth series of The Car Show on Channel Nine at midday tomorrow to see:

Ford offshoot FPV has built its own drift car based on a turbocharged Falcon in an effort to introduce a whole new generation of people to the blue oval badge. Glenn Ridge gets behind the wheel of the Ford FPV Drift car with professional drifter Adam Newton, to see if you really can teach an old dog new drift.

The Car Show hosts, David Morley and Dieter Kahsnitz disagree on just about everything. David's decided the BMW M3 is the best bang for buck in its class and Dieter, of course, reckons it's the Porsche Cayman. After track tests both agree to disagree, so it's up to Glenn Ridge to take to the track and cast the deciding vote on the best buy.

Also this week we share the passion with John Leggo and his amazing collection of all things motoring. John has a treasure chest of collectables including a 1962 XL Ford Falcon, '65 Mustang and even a tear-drop caravan. John's passion for all things on wheels doesn't end there: To keep his fellow hot rodders entertained, John built an American Saloon bar next door to his garage. He's also built a genuine '50s diner complete with jukebox, dance floor, huge model car collection and heaps of memorabilia.

Over 140 entrants assembled in the Victorian high-country this year for the third annual Porsche Mt Buller Sprint. The Car Show's own Glenn Ridge took part and we rate his and the other competitors efforts up the mountain.

Plus, David Morley takes us for some hot laps at Calder Park Raceway and we review the great new movie starring Anthony Hopkins and a 1920 Indian Twin Scout, 'The World's Fastest Indian'.

The Car Show is now on air twice each week: for one hour on Wednesday nights and a shortened version on Saturday afternoons.
