The Car Show takes it all off
Sparks are flying this week as The Car Show welcomes its newest team member, and Morley gets her off to a flying startSam and David score a pre-loved 1986 Toyota Corona but have no budget to spend on any form of improvements (they spent it all on CDs and beer on the way to Heathcote Park Raceway). The only thing they can do is take to it with some trusty power tools and cut bits off until the Corona goes faster... Sam sets the baseline time and then they get to work on making the fastest Toyota Corona in history. It's that easy! As Morley says: "What could possibly go wrong?"
Dieter has a very important question about the Chrysler 300C. A car like this looks gangster, but does it really cut it in the 'hood? Dieter tests the theory and takes the 300C to South Melbourne's 'Gotham City', and specialty bike builders Prozac Choppers, where it would surely come under scrutiny from the boys -- Frank and Angelo.
Are you better off with a restored original or the new kid on the block? It's a battle of old versus new, so of course we put the oldest (Glenn) against the youngest (in maturity) Dieter, to see if youth or wisdom wins over.
