The down under leg of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour is set to take place on 28 September giving Australian and New Zealand car enthusiasts the chance to be a part of the iconic Hot Wheels legacy. The global winner will have their custom car reimagined as a 1:64th scale Hot Wheels Die-Cast toy and sold around the world.

Taking out the 2022 edition of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour Australia was Corey Solomons from the Hunter Valley region of NSW and his custom Mini Clubman from 1974, named The Frankenmini.

The search for the best custom cars will be a highlight of the 2023 Hot Wheels Legends Tour, with an impressive panel of judges, including rally champion Molly Taylor, motorsports royalty Mad Mike Whiddett, and visual artist Jeswri, providing invaluable insights into the selection process. Also joining the lineup are Hot Wheels designers who will offer specific insights on specific car features and how they’ll work on a 1:64 diecast.

The judges will be on the lookout for the most exceptional and innovative designs that exemplify the spirit of Hot Wheels.

Judges will evaluate all vehicle entrants and finalists on the criteria of creativity, authenticity and garage spirit. Built, not bought, remains the spirit of the Tour, and custom creations of all makes and models, shapes and sizes are encouraged to enter.

If you have a custom car creation that you think could be the next Hot Wheels sellout model, submit your vehicle!

Hot Wheels and car enthusiasts who haven't submitted their cars can still get involved and watch the show live on the Hot Wheels socials.
