Depending on your skill level and aspirations, racing simulators can cost anywhere from a couple of hundred dollars to well over $15,000 for a more advanced set-up.
If you want the whole kit-and-kaboodle with suspension – and the promise of a more realistic experience – prepare to be forking out a six-figure sum.
But $236,377? Now that’s steep.
And it’s also before shipping costs, that are calculated at the check-out. Alas, that’s what Aston’s Aramco F1 Team AMR24 Simulator will set you back.

Said to be the epitome of cutting-edge technology, expert craftsmanship, and engineering excellence, the AMR24 Simulator – what looks like a half-built Formula 1 car with a monitor plonked ahead of the driver – is a carbon-fibre piece of art built to order in none other than British racing green, using the same CAD (computer-aided design) drawings utilised to manufacture the actual F1 cars raced by Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.
Drenched in official Aston Martin livery, the $200k-plus outlay gets you everything you need for an F1-style racing experience, including a high-definition curved gaming display screen loaded with race tracks from all around the world along with a numbered chassis plate, the latest gaming hardware, and gaming pedals.

Put simply, it’s everything you need to plug in and play the official F1 game. Heck, you even get a 12-month warranty.
Set to go to auction on March 26, a signed (by Alonso and Stroll) AMR24 ‘Edition 1’ is also available, however, with a price guide of between $289,000-$385,906, you’ll be forking out a fair bit more.
