Three cars are for sale, GT (V8) and EcoBoost (four-cylinder) Mustangs and a Ranger.
Tickford Marketing Director, Peter Trevaskis believes the opportunity to own the vehicles will “appeal to a wide range of enthusiasts”.
“We are in the unique position to offer for sale three very important vehicles central to Tickford’s re-emergence, and the fact these are literally the first of their kind to receive the Tickford treatment makes them extremely rare,” Trevaskis said.
“Tickford is all about performance and passion and our first GT and EcoBoost Mustangs, along with our first Ranger Wildtrak, typify these values as they were central to developing the range of products we now offer.
“While technically used cars, the history of each makes them special and we believe they will be highly sought by collectors both new to the brand and with a history of acquiring high-performance Fords.”

TICKFORD MUSTANG GT – PRE-PRODUCTION 0001
“Featuring build plate PP0001 (Pre-Production 0001), this MY16, V8-powered GT is the actual vehicle featured in all of Tickford’s marketing materials and in media reviews.
“As a pre-production vehicle, this first ever Tickford Mustang undertook a large portion of the company’s engineering development work for powertrain and ride and handling componentry, plus interior and exterior styling features.
“The pre-production Tickford Mustang GT has some minor visible signs of wear, but retains Tickford’s warranty (which covers the balance of the car’s manufacturer warranty) and provides its new owner with a very unique piece of Australian automotive history.”
TICKFORD ECOBOOST MUSTANG – PRE-PRODUCTION 0002
“Featuring build plate PP0002 (Pre-Production 0002), this MY15, 2.3-litre four-cylinder turbo-powered coupe is the actual vehicle featured in all of Tickford’s EcoBoost marketing materials and in media reviews.
“As a pre-production vehicle, this first ever Tickford EcoBoost Mustang undertook a large portion of the company’s engineering development work for EcoBoost powertrain and ride and handling componentry, plus was part of Tickford’s development for exterior styling features.
“The pre-production Tickford EcoBoost Mustang has some minor visible signs of wear, but retains Tickford’s warranty (which covers the balance of the car’s manufacturer warranty) and provides its new owner with a very unique piece of Australian automotive history.”
TICKFORD RANGER WILDTRAK – PRE-PRODUCTION
“This MY16, PXII Wildtrak in Pride Orange is the actual vehicle featured in Tickford’s initial Ranger offering and featured a key part of the brand’s launch in October last year and subsequent media and marketing materials.
“As a pre-production vehicle, this first ever Tickford Ranger Wildtrak undertook a large portion of the company’s engineering development work for Ranger powertrain and ride and handling componentry, plus was part of Tickford’s development for interior and exterior styling features.
“The pre-production Tickford Ranger Wildtrak has some minor visible signs of wear, but retains Tickford’s warranty (which covers the balance of the car’s manufacturer warranty) and provides its new owner with a very unique piece of Australian automotive history.”
