Tickford's 400kW Mustang pack now $2000
Ford tuner pares back the price of its most popular performance packageBlue Oval tuner Tickford has released a host of end-of-financial-year deals with a difference, allowing Ford Mustang and Ranger owners to turn the wick up on performance for less.
The Victorian company has discounted some of its most popular and potent packages by thousands of dollars.
Owners of the current (2018-2019) Ford Mustang GT, for example, can now raise the outputs of their 5.0-litre V8 to 400kW courtesy of Tickford’s Mustang 400 Power Pack, priced from $2000 fitted (reduced from $2750).
The package comprises a Tickford performance ECU tune, Tickford individual build number, Tickford Enhanced badge and driveline warranty.
Tickford says its upgrade for the latest Mustang’s bent eight liberates a mammoth 61kW and 76Nm more power and torque without the use of forced induction, bringing outputs to 400kW/632Nm for both manual and automatic models – up from 339kW/556Nm.
The previous (2015-2017) Mustang’s outputs can be bumped to 360kW with the Mustang 360 Performance package, which costs $5990 fitted (reduced from $7500).
That package integrates a Tickford ECU tune, numbered build plate and Tickford badge, 3.0-inch Tickford stainless steel cat-back exhaust, quad outlet black chrome exhaust tips, Tickford quad outlet rear diffuser, cold air intake, throttle body spacer and driveline warranty.
Four-cylinder Mustang owners haven’t been forgotten: Tickford’s Mustang 270 Power Pack has been reduced to $4990, a saving of $2000.
The pack brings an ECU tune, build plate and badge, 2.5-inch stainless steel cat-back exhaust, quad outlet carbon-fibre exhaust tips, Tickford rear diffuser, cold air intake and driveline warranty.
On the ute front, Tickford has reduced its Ranger Power pack by $1800, to $4990. Available on 2015-2019 Ranger models, the pack entails a Tickford ECU tune, larger intercooler and hard pipe kit, 3.0-inch Tickford stainless cat-back exhaust, dual side-outlet exhaust tips, Tickford tailgate badge and driveline warranty.
The Power Pack special offers are available until June 30.
