Nissan has revamped the pricing of its Tiida small car range.
The replacement for the popular Pulsar, Tiida has been less than successful for Nissan to date. While the ‘old’ Pulsar sold more than 10,000 units YTD July last year, in a burgeoning small car market, the all-new car has struggled to top the 6000 mark for the same period in 2006.
Nissan’s ‘Fully Loaded’ program was announced this week in an attempt to top up sales across the range of Tiida sedan and hatches. The maker claims customers can save up to $2250.
The entry level Tiida ST model is now priced from $17,990 – a reduction of $2000.
The ST's standard equipment list includes dual SRS airbags, front seatbelt pretentioners, air-conditioning, keyless entry, CD player with four speakers, power mirrors and 15-inch steel wheels with full covers.
Nissan will also offer the ST Style Pack option for an additional $1000. The pack includes alloy wheels, power windows and Tricot seat trim.
During the campaign, the ST-L is priced at $19,990. Nissan claims the ST-L is now the only vehicle under $20,000 in its segment with standard curtain airbags.
Complete with rear spoiler and alloys, the Tiida Q hatch (pictured) will kick off at $22,990 – a reduction of $2000. Meantime, the top of the range automatic Ti is now $24,990 – a $1500 discount.
