Nissan has announced details and pricing of its 2007 model Tiida sedan and hatch. And taking advantage of the car's tariff-free status now it is sourced from Nissan's Thailand plant, the range will go on sale from Jan 1 with a new recommended retail price of $17,990.
Previously, Nissan had sold the Tiida at the same price point under a special relaunch/clearance campaign.
The 2007 update also sees the ST variants fitted with ABS brakes as standard. This brings the entry level model into line with the rest of the Tiida range.
Cruise control is now also available on all automatic Tiida models
The Tiida ST-L sedan is now priced from $19,990 and the Q hatch is $22,990.
The top-spec Ti sedan gets a new rear spoiler and is priced at $25,240 with standard automatic transmission. Auto is a $2250 option on all other models.
According to Nissan's General Manager of Marketing, Ross Booth, the 2007 model Tiida is "not only keenly priced but also surprisingly spacious and well specified."
"Nissan has always strived to offer superior value for money and with the release of the 2007 model Tiida we have created an even more competitive package," he said.
