Celebrities often develop a taste for the finer and faster things in life. Most aren’t scared to spend big to ensure they’re keeping up appearances on the road. Here's our pick of the top 10 young stars with cars that grab almost as much attention as they do.
The Golden State Warriors centre, who was Australia’s highest-paid athlete last year, currently owns 16 prized muscle cars, with his personal favourites including a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 and a black vintage Chevrolet Camaro.
The luxury sports car features a thumping V8 that can propel the little Argentinian to more than 300km/h and set him back well in excess of $200,000.
More recently he’s been spotted in a red Ferrari 458. He once even 'blacked out' a pint-size smart fortwo with a matt-black paint job and giant black wheels, proving that better doesn’t always mean bigger for the entertainment elite.
We’re not sure whether it’s merely sponsor speak or not, but Australia’s Formula 1 ace Daniel Ricciardo insisted on a recent promotional trip to Melbourne to show that he’s got an Infiniti Q50 in his driveway.
Which has been substantiated by a recent video stunt where he surprised a Infiniti customer.
"It's great to have some fun with the fans, so today's surprise was a great way to kick off the weekend," said Ricciardo. "I now drive an Infiniti Q50 hybrid back home in Monaco so I was familiar with the car, which made it easy to give the guys a proper test drive! It's been a good day."
But car enthusiasts would be wondering why she doesn’t do all of her commuting in her McLaren MP4-12C, which is just about the closest you’ll come to driving an F1 car on the road and capable of hitting 100km/h in just over three seconds.

Australian performer Iggy Azalea certainly fits the bill on that score, after she was last spied in Los Angeles in a new white Ferrari 458 Italia. The 24-year-old Sydney native’s latest speed machine couldn’t be more different to her previous car: a beefed-up Mercedes-Benz G 550 four-wheel drive.
She’s hardly slumming it with the top down in her white Volkswagen Eos convertible, but for speed thrills she’ll need to look somewhere else.
Nick Kyrgios
Australia's great tennis hope can't stay out of the news, sadly for Nick it's usually for things other than his tennis playing. Nick Kyrgios seems to have a ride that mirrors his personality. Brash and fiery.
We have been told that in previous visits back home he has borrowed his sister’s Hyundai i30, but all that has changed and he is now the owner of a BMW M3. If you follow Nick on social media he makes mention of his Beemer pride and joy often and expresses how much he misses his wheels when out of the country.
The 19-year-old was recently snapped cruising Hollywood with a gal-pal in her new customized 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has a real passion for cars and has spent a fair share of her modelling and TV money on Class 'A' transport.
As well as being spotted driving around in a black Range Rover, she was also snapped behind the wheel of a black Audi convertible.
