Ferrari's LaFerrari Spider was leaked late last night after images appeared on car blog AutoEvolution.com of a 1/43 scale diecast model that's believed to have been commissioned by the Italian car-maker.
Thought to have been created from design blueprints, the 2017 LaFerrari Spider shares much with the coupe, apart from its lack of a roof panel.
Before the scale model was leaked it was thought the drop-top hypercar would come with a complex folding hood mechanism but, judging by the model made by toymaker Kane & Co, the LaFerrari seems to have a removable roof panel similar to the old F50.
Originally, just 499 LaFerrari coupes were made back in 2013, but the roadster is set to be even more exclusive with only around 200 Spiders rumoured to be planned for production.
Anticipated to cost around $2 million (plus local taxes), the drop-top Ferrari hybrid is expected to come with the same 588kW 6.3-litre naturally-aspirated V12 as the coupe, which combines a 120kW electric motor in a HY-KERS petrol-electric drive system to deliver total output of 708kW/700Nm.
The LaFerrari Spider is expected to reach 100km/h in less than three seconds and continue to 200km/h in less than seven seconds and 300km/h in less than 15 seconds, before topping out in excess of 350km/h.
Since the Spider shares the same ultra-stiff carbon-fibre monocoque as the coupe, handling and weight should be similar.
In case you're interested in your very own LaFerrari Spider toy, Kane & Co is expected to retail the scale model of what will be one of the world's fastest convertibles for around $580.
