Joining the recently released Toyota Yaris Edge limited edition are two other Toyota models, the RAV4 Edge and Corolla Edge.
The new Edge-badged compact offroader and small car benefit from a similar number of extras as the Yaris and like the plethora of special edition models from almost all car brands, they are designed to increase interest during slow sales months between July and September.
Corolla Edge models are based on the entry-level vehicles and get improved equipment such as 16-inch alloy wheels, side skirts, rear spoiler and rear mud flaps, plus front fog lamps and Edge badging.
Toyota has upgraded the interior of the Corolla Edge as well, adding Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity, a six stacker CD stereo and specially branded floor mats.
The RAV4 boasts more for its upgrade, when compared to its small car sibling, including: 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, a premium steering wheel and gear shifter, plus reverse parking sensors, Bluetooth capability, a 6-CD stereo system, branded floor carpets and Edge badging.
The prices are as follows, but do not include statutory or dealer-delivery charges:
Corolla edge - $22,240 (manual)
Corolla edge - $24,240(automatic)
RAV4 edge - $34,240 (manual)
RAV4 edge - $36,240 (automatic)
