Toyota has announced that a new low-volume model, the RAV4 Altitude, will offer buyers $1700 worth of value for $500 above the list price of the standard RAV4 CV.
While it's based on the all-wheel drive CV grade, the RAV4 Altitude is priced from $32,490 for the manual-transmission variant (not including on-road costs and dealer pre-delivery charge) and packs the following additional features: 17-inch alloy wheels (including spare) roof rails and privacy glass for the rear, rear quarter and rear-door windows.
Other added features offered with the RAV4 Altitude comprise: reverse-parking sensors, a USB-compatible six-disc CD audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, a premium steering wheel and upgraded gearshift knob. Vehicles fitted with automatic transmission also come equipped with Dowhnill Assist Control.
Toyota will build just 800 units of the RAV4 Altitude between now and September, with buyers able to choose from five exterior colours: Glacier White, Silver Pearl, Graphite, Ebony and Wildfire.
