Trekker boosts Grand Vitara range

Suzuki has added limited edition option packs across its Grand Vitara line-up

Suzuki's Grand Vitara medium SUV line-up has copped a dose of goodies in the shape of limited edition Grand Vitara Trekker packs.

The Trekker packs will be offered as 'no cost' options for a limited time, says the company. They will be available on all three variants of the Grand Vitara (to read CarPoint's recent test of the latest Grand Vitara click here) and each comprise around $3500 worth of added value.

Suzuki says the Trekker packs have been designed to suit each Grand Vitara model.

Unchanged at $30,990, the 2.7-litre V6 five-door Grand Vitara Trekker scores front and rear floor mats, bonnet protector, headlamp protectors, front slimline weathershields, a 300lt roof-mounted luggage pod, foglamp kit, roof racks, tow bar kit, cargo net and cruise control.

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder five-door Trekker is priced from $28,990 and gets the floor mats and protector kit, front slimline weathershields, the same roof luggage pod and racks, foglamps, tow bar, cargo net and a CD stacker.

The baby of the range, the 1.6-litre three-door GV Trekker receives new floor mats, bonnet protector, headlamp protectors, front slimline weathershields, nudge bar, foglamp kit, roof racks, tow bar, cargo net and CD stacker. It is priced from $23,990.
