The largest vehicle in the Subaru line-up, the new Tribeca SUV, will be on sale in Australia early November, following its launch at the Sydney Motor Show in October.
Tribeca will be launched in five and seven-seat standard and luxury models, and is powered by a 3.0 litre six-cylinder fuel-injected petrol boxer ( horizontally-opposed) engine.
The Tribeca will be offered with Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, and boasts reinforcements around the passenger cabin for added strength and dual front and side SRS airbags.
According to Subaru, Australian customers should register their interest in the Tribeca with dealers promptly as local deliveries will be affected by demand from the US and Europe.
Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia, said: "We've had fantastic feedback from the motor shows where we've displayed left-hand-drive versions of Tribeca over the past 15 months.
"We just wish we could have had access sooner, but we're now delighted to confirm it will be in showrooms the first weekend in November."
Tribeca is Subaru's first all-new model since the 1997 launch of Forester. Look for CarPoint's first local review of the Tribeca in early November, in the meantime check out more details
