TVR has revealed the all-new carbon-fibre architecture of its born-again supercar.
This official cutaway image also shows the car’s Ford-Cosworth V8, which will produce at least 300kW, which should help the coupe to hit 100km/h in less than four seconds.
Set to arrive late next year, the all-new TVR coupe has attracted more than 400 deposits firm around the world, says TVR.
The new-generation TVR coupe, which is rumoured to resurrect the old Griffith name, is claimed to weigh in at less than 1150kg thanks to the extensive use of lightweight materials like aluminium in its construction.
TVR has already announced that the Griffith will be built at a new manufacturing facility in Wales. The new V8 sports car is almost certain to be sold in Australia, where it’s expected to be priced from around $200,000.
