Aston Martin has confirmed it will showcase two 'breathtaking' new models at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance later this month, alongside the latest development of the Aston Martin Valhalla hypercar.
There’s no word on what exactly will be unwrapped at the famous Monterey car show in California on August 19, but rumours suggest the recently-rebranded British brand will debut a roadster version of its new V12 Vantage coupe.
Adding fuel to that speculation is the fact Aston announced overnight that it will unveil a high-performance model in a similar vein to the Aston Martin DBX707, Aston Martin V12 Vantage and Aston Martin Valkyrie.
The last-gen V12 Vantage Roadster was last sold back in 2018 and, until now, the only compact Aston drop-top available has been the V8 version.
The other Aston reveal at the prestigious US event, meanwhile, is said to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Q by Aston Martin bespoke service and is described as a “very special, ultra-exclusive model” that pays tribute to the brand's success at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
This has led some to suggest it will be an update or follow-up to last year's V12 Speedster DBR1, which paid homage to the car-maker's famous 1959 Le Mans win.
The updated Valhalla, meanwhile, will give Pebble Beach attendees their first glimpse at the 745kW hybrid hypercar's cabin, as well as some late-stage exterior design tweaks that should reappear on the production model.
Commenting on the upcoming reveals, Aston Martin global marketing boss Renato Bisignani said: “We look forward to celebrating Aston Martin’s new era of performance at Pebble Beach and displaying our iconic ultra-luxury models, including a world-first reveal of an exciting new model, and the public debut of another thrilling addition to our breath-taking portfolio.”
