Michelin has announced a new online game for motor sport enthusiasts – and there's a nice little hook to draw in the punters: the chance of winning a trip to Malaysia to drive the circuit at Sepang.
Named 'The Right 2 Race', the game is based on driving the Sepang track. Not only is the game entertaining, it's also an online learning tool, teaching drivers the correct racing line and braking points. The game will record the player's 'perfect' lap and then replay it in live action video filmed with a real race car attacking the circuit using the player's chosen lines and braking points.
Right up to June 30 players are invited to enter a competition, with the top six players selected winning a trip to Malaysia, where they take part in the Michelin Pilot Sport Experience. This annual event provides an opportunity for drivers to get behind the wheel of high-performance vehicles, with Michelin instructors on board to supervise. The cars at this year's event – to be held in August – will all run on Michelin tyres. A highlight for many will be the hot lap of the track in a Formual Le Mans race car as passenger, alongside one of Michelin's professional drivers.
