TYRES: Kumho greens up

Plant-a-tree affiliation with Greenfleet extends as Kumho commits to planting of trees simply by showing support on Twitter

Following an alliance with Greenfleet which was formed in March this year and sees the planting of a tree for every set of its Ecowing tyres sold in Australia, Korean tyre importer Kumho has now expanded on the commitment and will plant a new tree for every follower who gets behind Kumho and Greenfleet via the company’s Twitter feed.

The new incentive will see a further 250 trees planted in June, over and above the initial incentive.

Kumho Tyre Australia’s national marketing and training manager, David Basha, said the company is taking its original commitment a step further by planting trees independent of the requirement requiring the purchase of a set of Ecowing tyres.

"We realise that not everyone is in a position to purchase Ecowing tyres at the moment so we're giving people the opportunity to support our arrangement with Greenfleet," he said.

Kumho can be followed on Twitter via @KumhoTyres or by heading to the Twitter tabs on its Facebook page: www.facebook.com/kumhotyres
