2010 marks the 50th anniversary of the locally-built Ford Falcon. To commemorate the milestone, Ford Australia is inviting enthusiasts to enter a competition, named the 'Ultimate Ford Experience'.
50 winners will enjoy the opportunity of traipsing through the Ford Design Studio, the Broadmeadows manufacturing plant and the Geelong engine plant on guided tours.
But there's more... Ford will also lay on a lunch with famed touring car drivers, Dick Johnson and Allan Moffat, in company with president Marin Burela.
As the icing on the cake, how about a quick spin around the proving ground at Lara, with Ford Australia test drivers at the wheel?
To enter the competition, just find an image reflecting your favourite Falcon memory and head to the web page, www.facebook.com/FalconTurns50. Click on the 'Like' button, answer five historical questions concerning the Falcon, upload the photo and submit between 50 and 100 words outlining your best memory of the Ford Falcon.
According to Ford Australia, the company welcomes stories concerning any topic centred around the Falcon, whether it be "exciting restoration jobs" or "ultimate road trips".
The competition closes on July 9 and winners will be announced via the Facebook page on July 14.
