The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E has been given yet another overhaul and a subsequent mild price adjustment; the range now kicks off from $65,990 plus on-road costs with customers getting more power, efficiency, comfort and an updated interior.
Due in showrooms later this month, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is now a bigger threat to its rivals with a series of practical enhancements.
The base Select, for instance, now outputs 212kW/525Nm (+14kW/95Nm) and scores new springs, dampers and sway bars to elevate its real-world performance and ride comfort – Ford hasn’t confirmed any acceleration gains.
The mid-range Premium has been treated to the same upgrades (-4kW, +95Nm), while the flagship GT has had the most work done to it, now outputting 434kW/955Nm (+76kW/95Nm) and capable of covering up to 515km (+25km) on a single charge.
As with the lesser variants, Ford Australia is yet to announce any tangible performance gains.
No changes have been made to the chemistry or energy densities of the 91kWh long range battery in the Premium and GT, however it now only takes 36 minutes (-9 min) to fast charge from 10-80 per cent under ideal conditions.
All variants have been treated to a new heat pump, refreshed wheel designs, a column-mounted monostable shifter which yields a redesigned centre console, and 10-way power-adjustable front seats (up from eight-way).
More specifically, the Select has scored the same LED headlights as its stablemates, the Premium now features matte black cladding and body-coloured wheelarch mouldings, and the GT nabs a refreshed grille design.
The updated 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is arriving in local showrooms this month priced from $65,990 (+$1000) plus on-road costs for the new Select.
The Premium now costs $80,490 (plus ORCs), marking an increase of $500, and the GT has risen $1116 to $98,490 – still cheaper than the Kia EV6 GT and Hyundai IONIQ 5 N but not as affordable as the new Tesla Model Y Performance or Zeekr 7X Performance AWD.
