Upgraded 2025 Peugeot Expert is ready to work

Fresh styling, enhanced in-car tech and better payload headline facelifted mid-size delivery van

The 2025 Peugeot Expert has been introduced Down Under, the mid-size van arriving with a new look, a higher payload, extra kit and enhanced in-car tech, but with no change to its pricing.

The updated van is no longer available with a manual transmission, with all versions now equipped with an eight-speed automatic.

Featuring new headlights, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and the brand’s new lion badge with PEUGEOT lettering, the French brand has also introduced a new Titanium Grey paint option as part of the refreshed lineup.

The new front and rear bumpers boost the length fractionally by 24mm to 4981mm for the short-wheelbase (SWB) version and 5331mm for the long-wheelbase (LWB) body.

However, the big changes are found within, with the van gaining a new 10-inch digital instrument cluster that is combined with a 10-inch infotainment system, with both standard across the range.

The infotainment now offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard while there’s now adjustable seat heating for the driver’s seat.

More welcome news is the payload for the SWB model has been boosted from 1280kg to what Peugeot says is a class-leading 1350kg. The LWB version’s payload, meanwhile, improves from 1237kg to 1325kg.

Under the bonnet the current van’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel still produces 110kW and 370Nm.

While there are no price changes across the range, the entry-level Peugeot Expert City SWB manual variant has been dropped.

The Peugeot Expert lineup now begins with the Pro SWB, which costs $48,990 plus on-road costs (ORCs).

The range-topping Expert Premium SWB remains priced at $51,990 plus ORC with the long-wheelbase versions adding $2500 to the list price of both the Pro and Premium versions.

Available in no-cost Ice White paint, the new metallic Titanium Grey, Artense Grey and Nera Black are all a $690 option.

Pre-paid servicing is also available, with Peugeot Australia charging $1295 for a three-year plan, $1930 for four years and $2295 for the full five years of maintenance.

The 2025 Peugeot Expert range is available in Australian dealers now.
