Holden keeps rolling out the party tricks for its 60th anniversary, though we've been assured there's no celebratory Barina or Viva in the pipeline...
Following the release of 60th Anniversary special edition Commodore and Captiva models (more here), the VE Ute has also frocked-up for the occasion.
The special edition Ute is based on the SV6 model and comes with leather seat trim, sports steering wheel, upgraded stereo system, Bluetooth connectivity, alloy pedals, and 60th Anniversary floor mats and exterior badge.
Holden says that makes a present of around $2000 extra kit.
The 60th Anniversary Special Edition VE Ute goes on sale mid-May, priced at $36,990 for the manual model and $37,990 with auto.
The Ute will be on display at the National 4x4 Show in Brisbane this week. Holden is also showing the Captiva range (MaXX, LX, SX and CX) and Rodeo models (LT 4X4 Diesel Crewcab, LX Crewcab Pickup 4x4 and DX 4X4 Single Cab Chassis) at the show.
The National 4x4 Show opens this Thursday (April 24) and runs until Sunday April 27 at the Brisbane RNA Showgrounds. For details go to the 4x4show.com.au website.
