Vauxhall Vivaro breaks cover

Hot on the heels of Renault's new Trafic teaser comes an impression of its Brit twin, the Vauxhall Vivaro
Following the recent release of the first sketch of Renault’s next-gen Trafic comes a teaser of Vauxhall’s equivalent model, the Vivaro.
Vauxhall’s first mention of the model shouldn’t come as a surprise, given this LCV model has been shared by Renault and Vauxhall under a joint collaboration (the existing model is also available as an Opel and a Nissan).
According to GM’s British arm, the new Vivaro will inject plenty of innovation into the medium-duty LCV segment.
“The new Vauxhall Vivaro is coming – with new design, new engines and new technologies inside and out,” states a Vauxhall press release.
“The all-new Vivaro generation promises even more economical and higher-performance engines. It also boasts ultra-modern technologies and equipment that bring typical passenger car amenities and features for frequent drivers into the LCV segment.”
When asked if there was any chance of the revised Vivaro coming to Australia under the Holden badge, company representative Kate Lonsdale was reluctant to comment.
“We’ve nothing further to add at this stage, other than to say we always keep our ears and eyes open regarding new models,” she said.
