VIDEO: Nissan creates ultimate offroad X-TRAIL

Shame desert-storming SUV is for a terrible Middle Eastern ad

Nissan Middle East has created, what's thought to be, the ultimate offroad X-TRAIL.

Featuring a complete set of a tracks in place of four conventional wheels, a raised ride height and plenty of power, the new short video released by the Japanese car maker shows the medium-sized SUV attack sand dunes that would trouble even the toughest 4x4s.

Created to promote its range of SUVs, sadly, it's not known what went into converting the regular X-TRAIL into what Nissan’s calling its "Desert Warrior". Nor is it known if the Nissan SUV receives any under bonnet tweaks.

Instead, all we're left with is a short ad that loses quite a lot on translation.
