Volkswagen Australia has added the volume-selling VW Amarok Style TDI600 to its current drive-away pricing and free-servicing promotion, equating to a $5000 discount off the new-generation V6-powered dual-cab 4x4 ute.
The promotional pricing sees the best-selling mid-range variant cut down from $70,990 plus on-road costs (or about $80K drive-away depending on the state or territory) to $72,990 drive-away, and the deal is sweetened further by the inclusion of five free scheduled services valued at $1800.
That makes the Style V6 now several thousand dollars cheaper than the equivalent Ranger Sport by the time they’re on the road – at least in the lead-up to the MY24 Amarok range arriving.
“More than half of all Amarok customers want the Style TDI600 for its blend of toughness, technology and premium value,” said Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles director Ryan Davies.
“While we continue to work on meeting demand for the flagship PanAmericana and Aventura, the ability to deliver an even greater number of Styles with the V6 diesel engine is significant as we start the new year.
“Throughout the next three months these drive-away deals and servicing offers will continue alongside adjustments to the Amarok MY24 line-up.”The 2024 model year portfolio will be available to order as of February 1, when all grades will score an electronic brake controller as standard plus the standard fitment of blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert to the base Core TDI405.
However, more gear usually means a bigger asking price and that’s the case here too, with Amarok prices set to rise by between $2500 and $1750 depending on the variant, a full breakdown of which can be found below.
