Volvo is targeting driving enthusiasts with a new ad North American campaign for the S60 that was launched at the 2010 Geneva motor show. Entitled "The Naughty Volvo," the new campaign has been created to highlight the car's "fun and adventurous side" according to Arnold Worldwide, the global communications agency responsible for the car's promotion.
Volvo is hoping to change perceptions about its all-new S60 and the new push will be centred on an online campaign with several "Naughty Volvo" films.
There are several 'levels' of naughtiness that show the Volvo S60 in various situations, such as a high speed slalom run, avoiding precious objects such as goldfish bowls and crockery, and completing the slalom course in reverse. There's some impressive driving in the videos, make no mistake.
After the first three levels, the user is then invited to come up with ideas for a 'level four' naughty Volvo video.
"The Naughty Volvo" videos can be accessed at Naughty.Volvocars.us.
