W Motors reveals 400km/h Fenyr Supersport

UAE-based hypercar maker shows off car powered by 670kW Ruf-Porsche flat-six

W Motors has shown off a new limited-run hypercar that’s said will exceed 400km/h.

Called the Fenyr Supersport, the bizarrely named hypercar is the work of W Motors, the supercar company that originally began life in Beirut, Lebanon before moving to Dubai.

Created around a lightweight aluminium chassis that’s bonded with carbonfibre body panels, underneath its angular skin lies a rear-mounted twin-turbo 4.0-litre flat-six that’s been created by Ruf Porsche.

Producing a mighty 670kW/1200Nm W motors estimates the rear-wheel drive hypercar will nail the 0-100km/h sprint in 2.7 seconds and top out at 400km/h.

As well as collaborating with Ruf, W Motors also teamed up with Magna Steyr who could potentially build the 25 cars the hypercar-maker hopes to make a year.

It’s not known how much W Motors hopes to sell each Fenyr Supersport for, although its last car, the Lycan Hypersport, sold reportedly for $3.65m, although that car did feature real diamonds embedded in the headlights.
