WATCH: BMW X3 M and X4 M teased

Porsche Macan Turbo-rivalling BMW X3 M and X4 M teased in new video ahead of reveal next month in Geneva

BMW has posted a new video on its social media channels of its first BMW X3 M and X4 M mid-size super-SUVs being driven in anger ahead of their launch at the Geneva motor show in March.

Featuring plenty of action, the new Porsche Macan Turbo and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio rivals both sport the same full camouflage as the two cars revealed back in September, but this time you get the chance to hear its BMW M3/M4-sourced engine roar.

Predicted to produce a muscular 340kW and 600Nm from the turbocharged 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder, thanks to all-wheel drive both the BMW X3 M and X4 M should both be capable of hitting the 100km/h benchmark in less than four seconds and top out at a limited 250km/h.

Although they're not yet confirmed for Australia, when they arrive here around the second half of this year the powerful X3 M and X4 M SUVs are expected to be priced around the same as the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S wagon ($165,000) and 'Coupe' ($172,000).

For that you not only get the M3/M4 donk, but extra aero aids, sports suspension, huge brakes, BMW M's limited-slip rear differential and a louder sports exhaust as witnessed in the short vid.
