The new-generation 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor has set a Guinness World Record by passing through a narrow 880mm gap on just two wheels.
The Raptor, driven by British stunt driver Paul Swift, beat the previous record by an impressive 9.91mm.
Adding extra complexity to the record attempt were high winds, which made it trickier for Swift to balance the ute while on two wheels.
Other challenges included having to strengthen the actual ramp that lifted the Australian-developed ute – which we’re tipping was never put through this test at Ford’s You Yangs proving ground near Melbourne – up onto two wheels.

The Ranger Raptor’s higher ride height also made keeping it on two wheels tricky, but the long-travel spring and uprated dampers meant the Ford truck could slam back down on four wheels repeatedly without damage.
“I’ve used that car for quite a few other stunts recently, with various filming jobs that we have done, and I have found it to be sort of indestructible,” said Swift.
Swift has a long list of Guinness World Records to his name, including the tightest parallel park in an EV, the most doughnuts driven around a motorcycle while performing a wheelie in one minute, and executing five automotive stunts in just 57 seconds.
