Two new ultra-limited Toyota GR Supra models have been launched for the Japanese market and they are rumoured to preview a whole host of new upgrades that will soon be available at your local Toyota dealer.
The first, the GR Supra RZ Horizon Blue Edition, is limited to just 100 units and comes with a new blue paint that's contrasted with matte black elements.
Technical highlights of the RZ Horizon Blue Edition are new 19-inch forged alloy wheels, new mirror caps and tweaked aero parts including a new front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser.
Inside, the Horizon Blue gets Alcantara and leather trimmed sport seats, with blue stitching used liberally on the wheel, dash, door cards and seats.
The next limited-edition Toyota coupe will be even rarer. The Toyota GR Supra RZ Matte Storm Gray Metallic is capped at just 27 cars and, presumably, switches out the Horizon Blue hue for grey.
Since both specials are based on the 2021 GR Supra, both cars get the more powerful (285kW/500Nm) BMW-sourced 3.0-litre inline turbo six-cylinder and benefit from additional chassis bracing and retuned suspension.
In Japan the Toyota GR Supra RZ Horizon Blue Edition is priced at 7.41 million yen ($A105,000), while the GR Supra RZ Matte Storm Gray Metallic costs 7.67 million yen ($A110,000).
