What car you should choose based on your zodiac

Without a doubt, astrology has made a comeback into the mainstream over the last few years. Whether it’s the dire world circumstances we currently find ourselves in, or just bringing people joy to believe in something, there’s no shortage of places to get your witchy star sign fix.

So, with this in mind, and in the spirit of having fun and sparking just a little bit of joy, here’s what car you should be driving based on your star sign.

Despite starting three months into the year, the start of Aries season is what us in the know call “Astrological New Year”, so welcome Aries babies. This Fire sign is described as courageous, determined, confident, enthusiastic, optimistic, honest, and passionate. On the flip side, you’re fiery and can be known to be impatient and impulsive (hello spur of the moment road trips to the beach!). Keeping all this in mind, zipping around in a MINI convertible is for you.

Beautiful Taurus, you’re stubborn and uncompromising but you’re also reliable, patient, practical, devoted, responsible, and stable. The traits you are known and loved for.

As a Taurus, I thought long and hard about what I would like to drive in my wildest dreams. For a long time, and thanks to the Twilight Saga, it was a Porsche 911 Turbo, but ultimately, I think any Taurus would be more than comfortable in a Lamborghini. Taurus is ruled by Venus – the planet of love and beauty – and is there anything more beautiful than these expensive cars? The Lamborghini logo also features a bull like that of Taurus.

Geminis – the twins – are known to have two sides to their personalities and the mood swings are REAL. While this means on a bad day they are at their worst and can be indecisive, they also are known to be curious and versatile. So, what should our dear Geminis be hitting the road in? A Toyota RAV4 hybrid for sure. The best of both worlds… or personalities.

Beautiful Cancer. You’re tenacious, highly imaginative, loyal, emotional, sympathetic, persuasive. But you’re also one of the low-key biggest hotheads of the Zodiac. Whether it’s against you or someone you love, once someone is on your bad side, they regret ever crossing you. With this in mind, a classic American muscle car is the ride for you. Not only will it satisfy your need for speed, but the loud engine will also serve as a warning sign to anyone who dares look at you the wrong way.

Confident, enthusiastic, courageous – is there a better way to describe Leos?! They know their worth and aren’t afraid to tell you either. Leos are one of the most fun of the star signs to hang out with, so if you aren’t sitting in the passenger seat of their BMW 8 Series coupe what are you doing? If you’re in need of a pick-me-up, plan a road trip with your Leo pals and get ready to cruise the highway, windows down, of course.

The sun has recently just moved into the sign of Virgo, and this is the star sign we will be celebrating for the next month. Virgos, much like their fellow Earth sister signs Taurus and Capricorn, are loyal, kind, hardworking and practical. On the flip side, they’re big overthinkers and love to worry (even when it’s not necessary). The best car for this Zodiac is something practical and reliable, like a Toyota, Hyundai or Mazda, you know what you’re getting and that suits you down to a tee.

Don’t let their indecisiveness fool you, Libras are gracious, peaceful and love the great outdoors. They’re daydreamers and love sticking to their own timeframes. With this in mind, Libras need to be behind the wheel of something reliable and something they can put their own personal touch on like a van which they can transform into a camper for all their beach road trip camping adventures!

Scorpios get a bad rap a lot of the time and are labelled one of the shadier star signs. But everyone just doesn’t understand your mysterious and extremely passionate (and sometimes secretive) qualities. Pluto is your ruling planet, and there isn’t one Scorpio I know who isn’t one of the most intense people I have met. There’s always a deep energy inside of you meaning something like a Jeep Wrangler is the natural choice for this sign.

Free-loving and adventurous Sagittarius, you’re also one of the funniest star signs. One of my best friends is a Sag and I’ve never LOL’d more. She’s also the one person I know who is most likely to book a last-minute flight – or skip work to go to the beach for the day. When I asked her what her dream car would be, she said “a luxury car that can also go on adventures” – a perfect Sag response and I can definitely see her behind the wheel of a Land Rover.

I am surrounded by Capricorns in my family, both my parents, my brother, and one of my sisters. They’re everywhere. I can't escape. Lucky for me, you beautiful and loyal Capricorns are also an Earth sign, so we get along like a house on fire. The only issue is, there probably isn’t one thing a Capricorn hasn’t disliked at one point at another, meaning it’s hard to pinpoint your Zodiac-based car, but something like a Volkswagen Golf is a great choice.

You’re original and independent, but oh boy can you be emotional. Precious Aquarius, I’ve never met one I didn’t like. You’re fun and stand up for what you believe in. You have progressive beliefs and a very curious nature, so why not have a bit of fun with what you drive? Like the new Toyota GR Yaris.

Out of everyone in the Zodiac, no one is more in touch with mother nature than you, Pisces baby! You’re in touch with your spiritual side, have no problems with showing emotions, you show how compassionate and wise beyond your years you really are all the time. For this reason, there really isn’t one said car for a Pieces, instead they choose to walk or take public transport. It’s just their small part to help mother nature heal.
