Lee Elliott is possibly best known as the last man standing on season two of The Bachelorette Australia on Network Ten, when bachelorette Georgia Love finally revealed he was, ‘the one’.
Tradie Elliott takes carsales through his colours of the rainbow day on a plate – whether he’s perched behind the wheel of his Isuzu D-MAX or at the helm of a four-burner cook-top.
Synonymous with the meat pie and a 600ml Coke at smoko, the tradie has a vastly different work diet than most of us do. Although things are changing with many choosing health and fitness to help get them through rather than a meat pie, a vanilla slice or a potato scallop/cake/fritter while on the road. It's with this evolution that we ask Lee Elliott about his tradie diet of now.
“As a tradie I’m up bright and early and start every day with a Berocca with a shot of apple cider vinegar, shot of chlorophyll and water.”
“I make sure I’m on site by 6:30am so I can tuck into my muesli, strawberries, blueberries and yoghurt for breakfast.”
“A cappuccino with Stevia to help me defrost and keep me going till lunch.”
“By now I’m usually famished and for lunch today is a Turkish roll with chicken schnitzel and salad as well as a pink lady apple.”
“On the way home I snack on a banana”
“Post gym workout I have a Bondi Protein shake with coconut water.”
“As I’m home earlier than Georgia I’m the chef in the house and cook us up a beef and black bean stir fry with heaps of veggies and brown rice for dinner.”
