BMW has hit the first serve across the net in the luxury marques' traditional end-of-year sales match. Taking its popular large softroader as a base, the Bavarian brand has launched what it's dubbed X5 Performance Edition.
Priced from $99,900 driveaway for the X5 xDrive 30d, BMW says it will offer "just" 200 examples of vehicle. Early examples are arriving in dealerships now.
Performance Edition features "a package of sporting visual enhancements from the BMW Performance range of accessories". Specifically the package includes: 21-inch alloys, front and rear bodykit, side sills, guard flares and "Hi-Gloss Black" treatment to the front grille.
Expect a counter-offer from the other brands soon...
