XPeng’s local distributor, TrueEV, has announced its product rollout for 2026 which will see three new models introduced: the updated G6 medium SUV, X9, and G9L – which hasn’t even made its global debut yet.

In summary, the updated G6 will come with a new look, a lot more cabin and driver assistance technology, more power and new battery packs offering significantly faster charging.
Whereas the X9 is an all-new model for Australia and will compete primarily with the LDV MIFA 9, VW ID.Buzz and Zeekr 009 in the electric MPV market.

“Early interest in the X9 has been strong across families, fleet operators, chauffeur companies and mobility providers seeking an intelligent, long-range people mover with cutting-edge features,” TrueEV said in a statement.
As for the G9L, it’s “designed as XPeng’s new flagship model” and will operate in the premium large SUV segment.
However, details remain scarce since it hasn’t made its global debut yet.

Beyond these three inbound models, XPeng is working on several new global vehicles, all of which TrueEV is eyeing for local introduction.
“These new vehicles reflect XPENG’s long-term ambitions for the Australian market,” TrueEV CEO Jason Clarke said.
“Our close alignment with the global team ensures local customers benefit from the latest innovation with minimal delay.”
