Launched internationally only in April (more here), the new Nissan 370Z is already being offered as a limited edition model in the UK.
Painted in 'Ultimate Yellow', the limited edition 370 closely resembles the car used in Australian advertising for the new Zed -- ours is actually in eye-catching 'Chicane Yellow'.
The UK version comes with 19-inch RAYS alloy wheels, black leather and suede interior trim, heated seats, sat-nav and Bose stereo -- essentially the same specification as that offered by Nissan Australia.
The standout feature on the 370Z Yellow is the black graphic running along the car's flanks -- very reminiscent of circa 70s Porsche 911 Carrera models.
Nissan Australia is unlikely to offer the limited edition 370Z to local customers due to the high-spec level of Australian delivery models.
"Our Australian spec 'Zee' is very highly optioned," explained Nissan Australia's Manager of Communications Jeff Fisher.
"It's equivalent to last year's 350Z Track model, which carried a number of upgrades over the regular coupe. It's also, I believe, more highly optioned than the base European or USA Z."
Locally the 370Z comes standard with the abovementioned incentives for the limited edition UK model (except for the Japanese-made RAYS wheels), as well as keyless entry, Bluetooth, speed sensitive steering, front and rear spoilers, xenon headlights and LED taillights -- there's nothing to add!
Prices start at $67,990 for the six-speed manual 370Z, while the seven-speed automatic costs $3000 extra.
