Zagame awarded top Alfa dealer for 2009
Melbourne Alfa Romeo dealer praised for a consistent performance across a range of criteriaAteco Automotive, the local distributor of Italian marque Alfa Romeo, has announced its top-performing dealers for 2009. At the very pinnacle is Zagame Alfa Romeo, the dealership taking out an award for service as well.
Other Alfa dealers to be recognised for their efforts during the year were Alfa Romeo Brisbane (two awards for sales and dealership facilities), Thomson Alfa Romeo (parts) and Lance Dixon Alfa Romeo (customer service).
"There has to be an overall winner and this year it has gone to Zagame Alfa Romeo in Melbourne," says Alfa Romeo's General Manager in Australia, Edward Butler, after noting that the competition between the dealers had been very close and the final result was decided by fractions of a point.
"Although they took just one of the individual areas -- service -- their remarkable dealership-wide consistency ensured that they were a top performer or near the top in all areas and this enabled them to take 2009 Alfa Romeo Dealer of the Year award.
In response, General Manager for the winning dealership, Adrian Zagame, highlighted the demands placed upon the staff under him.
"This is an award for everyone at Zagame Alfa Romeo," he said.
"With judging taking place over 12 months, every aspect of the dealership under microscope and the competition so intense, everyone at Zagame Alfa Romeo knows that each and every customer interaction could be the difference between winning and losing.
"Therefore we all have to be at the top of our game all day, every day, with everyone working as a team to provide the best possible customer service to be the best Alfa Romeo dealer in Australia."
