8X MY18 Sportback 5dr Man 6sp quattro 2.0T Audi's mighty mite, the S1 five-door hatch, punches way above its weight with a strenuous turbo-petrol engine that puts out 170kW/370Nm to propel it to 100km/h from zero in a super-swift 5.9sec " faster than the slightly-lighter Volkswagen Golf GTI that uses a fractionally less powerful version of the same 2.0-litre engine. Compact dimensions, quattro all-wheel drive, sports suspension and 17-inch alloy wheels wearing 215/40R17 tyres combine to make a super-quick light hatch that can cut it with some of the best sporting sedans. The S1's well kitted-out interior includes standard sat-nav, leather sports seats and a powerful 10-speaker audio system.
