G29 M40i Roadster 2dr Steptronic 8sp 3.0T The all-new BMW Z4 is the donor car to Toyota's new Supra and is being pitched as a genuine rival for the Porsche Boxster. The all-new, third-generation two-seat (fabric) drop-top was penned by Australian designer Calvin Luk and comes in turbo four-cylinder 20i (145kW/320Nm) and 30i (190kW/400Nm) and 250kW/500Nm 40i six-cylinder form. Safety equipment runs from fixed rollover safety bars to autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian recognition, lane departure warning, reversing assistant and a full complement of airbags. 85mm longer than its predecessor, it is 26mm shorter in the wheelbase while the front and rear tracks have extended 98mm and 57mm respectively.
