Overview
As they say on their website, the Caterham Sevens are enthusiasts cars, bred for the visceral feeling of motoring where less, is more. So you have plenty of delete options in the Superlight SV R300 " no windscreen for instance " as it is more of a dedicated track car. The CSR 175 differs in that it has independent rear suspension, as opposed to the De Dion axle of the R300. All run Ford based engines, depending on your wallet, from a 2.0-litre 129kW up to a fire breathing Cosworth unit. Originally designed by Colin Chapman as the Lotus Seven in 1957, Caterham took over the rights in 1973.
