C8 MY22 2LT Coupe 2dr DCT 8sp 6.2i Australia has been waiting eagerly for the arrival of GM's stupendous mid-engined C8 Chevrolet Corvette. Built in GM's Bowling Green plant in Kentucky, USA and imported in right-hand drive form to Australia by General Motors Speciality Vehicles, the 369kW/637Nm 6.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 drives through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and accelerates the supercar to 100km/h in 3.1sec. There are five versions: 2LT coupe and convertible, 3LT coupe and convertible and Carbon Edition coupe. It's hoped that the more powerful Corvette Z06 with a 450kW 5.5-litre LT6 flat-plane V8 " redlined at 8000rpm " will follow. The first allocation of 250 Corvettes sold out before the first right hand drive example arrived in Australia.
