Not surprisingly, Ford's final Falcon is undoubtedly the best. With four model grades " base, XR6 (plus XR6 Turbo), XR8 and G6E " supported by a quartet of impressive engines, including the 176kW/353Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder EcoBoost turbo, the 195kW/391Nm 4.0-litre six-cylinder petrol and its 198kW/409Nm LPG and 270kW/533Nm turbo siblings, plus a 335kW/570Nm 5.0-litre Boss V8, the Falcon is a family sedan for all purposes. With strong performance across the board, plus refined ride/handling and a spacious, comfortable interior with plenty of load space, the big Ford is a much better, and more relevant, car than today's sales figures indicate.
