FN 2019MY GT Convertible 2dr SelectShift 10sp RWD 5.0i Ford updated its coveted Mustang coupe and convertible in mid 2018. Already the most popular sports vehicle on sale in Australia, a midlife facelift uncovered more speed, dynamics, tech and safety. The Mustang can corner, sounds terrific (with the help of a new "active" exhaust), is laden with tech and scores enough safety equipment to bump the ANCAP safety rating from two to three stars. At 339kW/556Nm the 5.0-litre V8 is more powerful (by 33kW and 26Nm) and, over the standard six-speed manual, there's now an optional 10-speed auto. The entry 2.3-litre four-cylinder Mustang produces the same 224kW, but torque goes up 9Nm to 441Nm.
