Overview
Joining current trends, Honda has split the CRV into 2WD and 4WD versions. The 2WD models are 2.0-litre while the upper level AWDs get the 2.4-litre engine, both being more powerful and frugal than previous versions. Having lost the lead established in the late nineties, the RM comes repackaged with a smaller exterior profile but larger interior, improved manners, expected Honda quality, and ancillary specs that have caught up to the pack that overtook it. ECO Assist attempts to keep the driver informed of (while moderating) their driving habits, where Econ Mode alters throttle mapping, cruise control and air conditioning accordingly.
