The Wrangler is the closest thing to a wartime Jeep you can buy today. Available in short wheelbase two-door and long-wheelbase four-door unlimited form, the Wrangler range offers two engine choices: a 147kW/460Nm 2.8-litre turbo-diesel " in Unlimited models " and a 209kW/347Nm 3.6-litre petrol V6, while also enabling you to make the decision between a six-speed manual or a five-speed auto gearbox. There's no messing around with the drivetrain " all Wranglers are dual-range 4WD. Short-wheelbase models are strictly four-seaters, while long-wheelbase Unlimited versions will take five passengers, while adventurous owners can choose to drop the fabric roof in sunny weather.
